With the approach of the new season, my mind turns to membership renewal / recruitment.
Membership subscriptions are critical to the financial health of the Club, given the significant fixed costs of running Portway arising from -among other things- business rates, water rates, insurance premia, essential ground maintenance & building repair costs & -especially at the moment- electricity. As a result of our monthly direct debit more than doubling in January & this month further increasing substantially it is now our no. 1 expense by some considerable margin.
Therefore, we are keen for existing members to renew their subscriptions & to recruit new members. With that in mind, I have today contacted existing ordinary members regarding renewal & shall be dealing with age grade parents & senior (adult) players in due course.
Should you be a supporter of the Club but not already be an ordinary member and most kindly wish to make a greater contribution to the Club please see: Membership information
If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me.
Also, on the subject of revenue raising, we also have the 200 Club, which is an additional / alternative way of supporting the Club financially.
