Birmingham & Solihull RFC

After successfully fulfilling several Hornets fixtures last season, alongside a full Bees campaign, our second team is now joining the Greater Birmingham Merit Table for the 2023/24 season. This is a program of triangular fixtures aimed to facilitate social rugby & provide regular playing opportunities for players by minimising cancellations. The triangular format allows for each team to play flexibly according to the numbers that are available to play eg 2x 40 mins per side (A v B, A v C & B v C) or one game of 80 minutes if numbers are short. This will provide increased opportunities for players in our squad to play in matches. In particular it will be a great stepping stone for young players coming through our colts team and players returning from injury to gain the senior game minutes they need.
